Welcome to WCS at MTSU!
in Computer Science is an organization based on the following purposes:
- To address problems in attracting female students to computer
science profession. - To attract and retain women in MTSU computer science program.
- To increase the attraction of computer science in the local community.
- To prepare computer science undergraduates for graduate school.
- To encourage women to be successful in the technological fields.
Our members are strong women determined to support and encourage other fellow peers
who are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, and other CS related fields. It is
our hope that all female CS majors/minors will plan to join this organization.

Welcome to the Fall 2012 semester! Our first meeting will be held on
Wednesday, 3 October 2012 @ 4:00 PM in the Conference Room, KOM 301.
Not a member yet? Fill out an application and turn it in to Ms. Parker’s office, KOM 357, or mailbox in the CS Office.

Encourage and Help Us Out by Donating
The Women in Computer Science at MTSU could use some financial help. We need funds to help pay for our members to attend technology conferences, to purchase supplies, to provide scholarships for students in need and to provide funds for our publicity efforts. We certainly welcome all contributions.
